As the weather starts to heat up, even if here in Glasgow we're still feeling the chill in May - typical for Scotland! We're looking at dusting off and refreshing our summer wardrobes ahead of holiday season and some well deserved sunshine.
Our latest arrivals to the footwear department include all new seasonal colour-ways from names we hold dearly at Finnieston, and some new friends! With a range of new trainer styles from KEEN and Flower mountain alongside some more formal favourites from GH Bass and Kleman when the occasion calls for a classier footwear pick and sandals perfect for when the heat creeps in from Birkenstocks and KEEN.
Our summer 2026 collection houses the perfect pairings to our footwear range, with our Mccoy Suit styling perfectly with our latest GH Bass Ranger Camp Moc Toes or the Zespa Break Point trainers for that minimalist look. Or for the everyday look, the Hardgate Chore Coat pairs well alongside our latest footwear brand to hit Finnieston - Mephisto
Mephisto’s story begins in 1965 with Martin Michaelis, who started crafting moccasin‑style footwear in France before expanding across Europe. By 1973 he had filed his first patent for a unique manufacturing process that shaped the brand’s reputation for durability and comfort. Growth followed quickly, with the first dedicated store opening in Germany in 1984, expansion into the United States by 1987 and into Canada by 1989. By 1995, Martin was celebrating his 150th store. Awards accumulated, including Best Footwear Brand of France in 1999, underscoring the quality behind the company’s rise. In 2015, Martin and his family marked Mephisto’s 50th anniversary with its 800th store worldwide, a testament to decades of craftsmanship and long‑lasting footwear trusted around the world.
Wether you're looking for the perfect pairing to a linen summer suit or a new pair of trainers ahead of the summer holidays, our footwear department has got you covered.
